Minimum Education/Experience: Board certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA, BCBA-D); Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of ABA including comprehensive intervention development and implementation for children and adolescents; Master's Degree in ABA or related field; Minimum of two years direct AT and RBT supervisory experience; Experience training, mentoring and supporting a team in an intensive treatment environment preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Directly oversees clinic operations to ensure efficacy and efficiency of all aspects of service delivery.
  • Serves as a liaison between the organization, staff, families, community stakeholders, referral sources, health care providers, LME/MCOs, and other payors.
  • Fosters a positive team culture and supports agency culture/morale.
  • Supervises and mentors the Autism Service Team including establishing performance expectations, developing supervision plans, conducting performance evaluations and monitoring program progress and productivity.
  • Collaborates to ensure appropriate staffing levels for the program based on client acuity.
  • Participates in the hiring of BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and ATs for the program.
  • Coordinates with HR on onboarding staff and new hire documentation.
  • Establishes shadowing, mentoring, and pairing schedule for new hires.
  • Develops and implements training plans for ATs, RBTs, BCaBAs, and entry-level BCBAs.
  • Ensures all staff certifications are obtained and maintained, in accordance with the guidelines of BACB.
  • Keeps abreast of BACB licensure requirements for staff supervision and related documentation, effectively communicates changes, and ensures implementation of requirements.
  • Monitors and ensures timely completion of effective clinical documentation and data collection.
  • Ensures initial client intakes are conducted fully and in a timely manner
  • Conduct behavior assessments and facilitate behavior programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Facilitate parent training and support families during their engagement with TLC
  • Partner with Central Intake & Scheduling departments to promote care management for the individuals served, ensuring they have access to many beneficial services in our continuum
  • Monitors staffing and scheduling to ensure coverage and optimize utilization with a Scheduling Specialist
  • Assist with regular and ongoing quality assurance checks, maintaining compliance
  • Assists with the implementation of company policies and procedures regarding all clinical and operational processes, including general and HR policies and procedures
  • Represents the company professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manages and directly oversees a small caseload of clients

Supervision:

  • Coordinates ongoing continuing education opportunities for clinical staff
  • Verify that high-quality supervision, program management, and professional development is occurring for all clinicians

Hours/Days of Work: Schedule determined by needs of the program and agency; Salary, Exempt positions may require more than 40 hours per week, including some nights depending upon client needs.

Supervisor: Director of Community-Based Services
