We are currently seeking ABA therapists for the Centennial, Lakewood, and Aurora areas!

Behavior Therapist Requirements:

• High school Diploma or College Degree
• Childcare, healthcare, or mental health experience required
• Must have consistent availability, Monday through Friday, including evenings
• Impeccable attendance and reliability
• Knowledge of Autism and appropriate behavioral interventions
• Ability to work without constant oversight
• Fun and professional personality to interact successfully with kids and parents
• Open to feedback and ability to adjust approaches accordingly
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Behavior Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• Provide one on one in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions and submit documentation in a timely manner
• Conduct Discrete Trials, Natural Environment Teaching, and a variety of teaching/reinforcement methods in line with the Behavior Support Plan.
• Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
• Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and challenging situations with diplomacy

• Maintain proactive communication with supervisor for feedback and guidance

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
• Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.

• Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.
• Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
