Job Summary
:

The Field Operations Specialist serves as a liaison between Audi of America (AoA) Operations and Audi regional and area teams, to align and support the achievement of all annual Audi national regional and area objectives. This position works in collaboration with all business departments to identify and operationalize, at a field and retail level, tools and resources to necessary support the achievement of all Audi national, regional, and area-level objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between AoA Operations and Audi Regional/Field teams (40%)

  • Effectively support achievement of all national, regional and area-level objectives, including but not limited to: New vehicle sales, Pre-owned vehicle sales, Market share, Vehicle turn rates, Contribution margin performance, Dealer profitability, SSI, Customer loyalty
  • Effectively work in collaboration with the Audi Field organization to gather and analyze intelligence on industry best practices and coordinate implementation of necessary process improvements to keep Audi competitive in the U.S. market
  • Effectively interface with the four regional offices to target and address opportunities to improve AoA retail business in the U.S and support “ease of business” initiatives within the dealer network
  • Effectively develop, coordinate and manage the distribution of all Field Communications from the Operations team – including, but not limited to distributing all AoA dealer communications and coordinating with business leads to prioritize the cadence of dissemination
  • Coordinate and organize field presentations on topics relevant to the business as well ensuring CIP compliance

Collaborate with all business departments to support achievement of national, regional and area-level objectives (40%)

  • Effectively coordinate and manage cross-departmental projects designed to provide the regional teams with the necessary tools to achieve all national, regional and area-level objectives
  • Effectively collaborate with Corporate Retail Marketing, Regional Retail Marketing, Corporate Retail Merchandising and Audi Financial Services to support a coordinated and successful execution of go-to-market strategies
  • Effectively coordinate cross-functional departmental responses to market disturbances, including recalls, by compiling applicable financial impacts, organizing dealer/customer support programs and related communications

Project Management (10%)

  • Effectively collaborate and manage the Twin Cup contest in partnership with our After Sales colleagues including planning logistics, maintaining budget, and communicated directly with the field.
  • Maintain copies and track Digital Cooperation Agreement with new Dealers
  • Support Field Operations Manager in the launch and maintenance of Customer Insights Portal including onboarding new dealerships,

Coordinate the development and execution of the AoA and dealer meetings/trips (10%)

  • Develop and/or organization of dealer communications (i.e. executive letters, Dealer quarterly newsletters, etc.)
  • Plan and organize the quarterly in-person meetings of various field members including the Senior Director of Region Operations in Tysons
  • Coordinate all logistics related to the annual dealer incentive reward trip

Required Experience:

3-5 years of relevant experience

Education:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business-related field

Desired

  • Master’s Degree,preferably in business-related field

Specialized Skills:

Required

  • In-depth understanding of automotive industry sales, marketing and finance processes (brand, captive finance arm, dealership)
  • In-depth understanding of automotive regional/field operations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in successfully communicating and engaging with executive leadership to affect critical decisions
  • Demonstrated budget management/oversight experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management
  • Proficiency in data management/analysis (Excel)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in presentation development and delivery
  • Demonstrated ability in writing communications

Desired

  • Captive finance experience (at least in liaison role)

Work Flexibility:

  • Hybrid position in Herndon office
  • Occasional travel to national, regional, and dealer meetings
  • Occasional international travel
