Position Overview
The Area Vice President of Clinical Services (RN) is responsible for the oversight and management of all clinical services for their area of responsibility. Working within the federal, state, and regional regulations covering home health/care the Area Vice President of Clinical Services works innovatively to meet the needs of our exceptional patients and clinicians while fulfilling the Aveanna’s mission of future growth and clinical excellence. Collaborating closely with the Regional leadership and other Aveanna Corporate Departments, the Area Vice President of Clinical Services is responsible for overall clinical quality of their area, including adherence to established clinical processes and evidence based best practices and training/implementation of all new clinical initiatives.
** This position oversees Clinical Services for the Home Health Branches in Florida. You must reside in this state to work in this position and be available to routinely travel to various branches. When not traveling, this role is remote from home**
- Communicates formally and informally (in person or phone) with Corporate Representatives (corporate level) and Regional leadership (region/branch level) to discuss clinical initiatives, surveys, training, processes that impact care delivery .
- Enforces and demonstrates compliance with all State and Federal Regulations, CHAP standards, Medicaid Regulations, and Aveanna Home Health policy and procedure.
- Organizes & conducts Clinical leadership and regional/branch meetings.
- Clinical Resource for all regional and branch locations, as needed
- Routinely audits and assesses for quality opportunities and implements corrective actions as necessary.
- Achieve clinical metrics provided by the HHH Leadership team
- Review weekly/monthly/quarterly clinical performance reports to assure nursing expectations are being achieved and met.
- Routinely make presentations to Regional Team/branch locations and other staff regarding clinical topics and key performance indicators to include appropriate plans to address negative variances.

- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- A minimum of 2 years clinical supervisory/agency management experience
- Current Florida State licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Valid Driver’s License and Acceptable MVR
- 3 year experience as a Registered Nurse within the last 5 years; in home health setting preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Home health experience required
- Knowledge of OASIS, PDGM, VBP required
