About The Role

The Associate, Proposals, Vendor Management and RFI is responsible to develop, maintain, and oversee the Vendor Management and the RFI activities within Altasciences’ Clinical Business Unit. The Associate, Proposals, Vendor Management and RFI will ensure the conduct of robust internal streamlined processes and premium product output to our sponsors. Secondary responsibility is to support the Proposals department with responding to clinical RFPs, inclusive of proposal content and budgets, as needed.

What You'll Do Here

• Leads the maintenance and further development of Altasciences global RFI repository and will be a central point of contact for completion of received RFIs throughout Altasciences.
• Develop and maintain the RFI document with ongoing updates to standard content, consistent formatting in coordination with the Proposals and Operational departments.
• Responsible for contacting both external clinical pharmacology units in addition to third-party service providers, including leading pricing and timeline negotiation in support of RFP requirements.
• Builds appropriate checks and balances in to the vendor management cycle to allow for evaluation of initial vendor selection criteria.
• Coordinates with the internal Clinical Monitoring Group and QA to ensure required confidentiality / qualifications (as needed) are in place throughout the vendor negotiation process with the goal of identifying potential new vendors for Altasciences.
• Leads coordination with internal operational teams to identify and compile required content for each RFI document, in line with RFP requirements, as applicable.
• Attends Strategy Meetings for each RFP, as needed, in support of proposal document development.
• Support the Proposals team by responding to clinical RFPs, inclusive of proposal content and budgets, as needed.
• Administrative tasks in support of Proposal team objectives.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in science or related dicipline. Pertinent experience may be considered in lieu.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills including high proficiency in English
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• 1-3 years in a similar role/experience
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

What We Offer
The pay range estimated for this position is $61,000 to $81,000 annually. Please note that hourly rates/salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location as well as internal equity and market data.
