Job Title: Associate Product Owner

Introduction:

The Associate Product Owner (APO) is primarily responsible for championing the principles of Agile Development. The APO participates in the development lifecycle by organizing and communicating product requirements for the development and quality engineers. They are the representative and owners of the requirements throughout development and participate, either as a primary or delegate, in the final approval and acceptance of requirements implementation.

The work will require you to work alongside other product owners and product managers in an effort to execute on key performance indicators and the critical business objectives.


Required:


  • Skills:
    • Dynamic, articulate, and passionate individual with a self-starter personality
    • Demonstrated ability to translate well documented requirements into actionable work items
    • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 0-1 years of relevant university coursework or professional experience in successfully executing against a requirements pipeline

Responsibilities:


  • Supports the development lifecycle by organizing and communicating product requirements with responsibilities including but not limited to:
    • Participant in business requirements documents (BRD) review
    • Participant in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, etc.)
    • Participant in user acceptance testing (UAT) and requirements signoff.
    • Produces end of Agile iteration reports to stakeholders
  • Maintains strong relationships with the development organization and acts as a trusted go-to representative for the product organization within their relevant area of influence
  • Produces appropriate reports at end of sprint for relevant stakeholders. Reports including but not limited to backlog burndown, sprint burnup, and requirements readiness analysis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
