General Purpose:

The Associate Product Manager is responsible for providing technical support to MI’s sales and installation network. This position will assist in developing and administering training programs and presentations to support the continued growth of MI’s replacement and new construction sales. The Associate Product Manager will also provide hands-on technical support to MI’s customers and sales representatives and help develop content on best practices for the sales and service of MI’s full product portfolio.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform training programs for customers and MI sales representatives to educate them on product features and benefits to increase their knowledge and comfort in selling MI products
• Conduct training programs for installers to educate them on relevant subject matter to increase their efficiency and capacity to install MI products properly and safely
• Assist customers and sales representatives in their respective needs such as job site visits, troubleshooting, and installation recommendations
• Assist and support all internal and external customers, including window dealers and distributors, in-home salespersons, builders and contractors, window installers, field service representatives, and MI territory sales representatives
• Support various sales and marketing programs designed to promote continued sales growth
• Assist with the creation and review of technical and marketing documents to include product data sheet, marketing announcements, sell sheets, and brochures
• Sales and market data analysis
• Other duties to support the Regional Product Manager

General Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field is highly preferred; Equivalent experience (2+ years) in residential remodeling/window sales will be considered
• Experience and knowledge in the building materials or residential remodeling/window industry required
• Operations background and knowledge preferred to provide a fresh perspective to the department
• Candidates must have strong verbal/written communication skills
• Candidates must be willing/able to travel throughout the country
