Job Description:
The Global Client Group (GCG) is responsible for developing new business relationships as well as managing current relationships with our global clients. We take the time to understand clients’ evolving needs, identifying where we can add value and collaborating to provide Dimensional investment solutions across a range of offerings, such as mutual funds, ETFs, and separately managed accounts (SMAs). By putting the client first, we strive to transform the way the world invests, and our solutions are a testament to the value provided to our clients.

Our Independent Advisor Group (IAG) is responsible for working with fee-only financial advisors (RIAs) across the country. This Senior Associate role will support Regional Directors working with our largest RIA clients nationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Regional Directors and Associates to develop and drive client support initiatives in the areas of investments, communication, and business strategy
  • Travel with Regional Directors and develop strong business and personal relationships with key advisor clients
  • Communicate complex investment principles and capital markets research across executive, investment, and advisory teams
  • Provide education to clients on why and how our portfolio solutions are constructed and implemented across mutual funds, ETFs, and SMAs
  • Interact with advisors on practice management related opportunities
  • Drive organization and sharing of learning and development efforts nationally and spur creative ideas and facilitation
  • Develop a robust understanding of the advisor industry and related business practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 4+ years of experience in the Financial Services/Investment industry
  • Proactive desire to learn
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently
  • Self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn programs as needed
  • Ability to successfully pass the Series 7 within the first 120 days of employment in order to interact with clients, followed by the Series 63/66
