Associate HRBP

The Talent Experience team at LaserShip provides regional based support to the entire employee population. Our focus is on equipping managers and employees with tools they need to be successful; we focus on programs relating to Performance Management, Talent Reviews, Engagement & Retention, and Organizational Development. As an Associate HRBP, you will partner with first line management on a regular basis and other HRBPs on performance management, org development, effective onboarding, and engagement and retention.

  • Provides information and general support to employees and first line managers.
  • May be responsible for scheduling and leading orientations, open-office hours and drafting onboarding plans.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and IT to ensure all onboarding is complete in time for a start.
  • Support performance management through research of best practices, drafting PIPS/corrective actions, and partnering with employees involved in IDP for one-on-one coaching.
  • Support the development of engagement and retention programs. Analyze employee feedback survey results, work with managers to develop and implement action plans where appropriate.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyzing data to make recommendations to management for corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate and help employees and managers interpret and apply human resources policies, procedures and programs, as needed.
  • Assist with special HR projects and Initiatives as assigned.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience required - previous HR experience and demonstrated experience interacting with business leaders is required
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to use independent judgment, problem-solve, be creative and answer questions
  • Strong coaching, conflict resolution, relationship and team building skills and demonstrated ability to influence without authority
  • Proven ability to partner with individuals effectively and respectfully at varying levels within an organization
  • Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Office 365 and exposure to human capital management software preferred
