About the Role
The successful candidate will have the ability to execute and lead projects through all phases of design documentation and administration, as well as actively support large projects within an expanded team setting. This position encourages creativity in problem solving to promote technical and design excellence while ensuring building code and regulatory compliance. Project size, type and responsibility will vary. This position will require a high level of coordination with others within a team environment. Project work may include all levels of design, including studies, conceptual design, design development, detailed design and construction administration.
Position Duties
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver informed project solutions based on market expertise and an understanding of client goals
- Coordinate with the project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants
- Resolve complex technical and design issues with team to produce innovative, technical, constructible solutions
- Direct production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasks
- Responsible for delivery of documents with design intent and top-notch technical quality
- Process submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIs
- Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
- Actively participate and contribute to the financial performance of project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or equivalent
- Licensed Architect in California
- 5-9 years of experience
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or SketchUp
- Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

- AutoCAD: 5 years (Required)
- Sketchup: 2 years (Preferred)
