About this Position:

The Assistant Zone Manager Parts & Service Operations Honda supports the Zone Parts & Service Manager in activities aimed at the improvement of service customer retention, service, parts and accessories sales business, repair order growth, the Express Service initiative, Honda automobile customer satisfaction ratings with Honda automobile dealer services and products, Honda Initial Quality Satisfaction of Honda products and the protection and maintenance of the interest of AHM and the Honda Brand. The AZM is primarily responsible for guiding, supporting and setting the performance expectations of the zone's DPSM's daily activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Zone Business Plan (Establishing, tracking and timely reporting)
  • Express Service Implementation and Growth
  • Associate Development (On-Boarding, Performance Measuring & Career Growth Coaching
  • Dealer / Zone Repair Order Growth Strategy Support
  • Dealer / Zone CSE Improvement & Retention Support
  • Dealer / Zone IQS Improvement Activities Support
  • Dealer / Zone Honda Genuine Parts, Accessories and Brand Support
  • Business Meeting Support
  • Conduct DPSM Appraisal and Performance Evaluations

We are looking for qualified people and diverse background and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic, to bring the future to Honda.

Required Work Experience:

  • 6-8 years of related work experience including interacting with dealerships on a wholesale and retail level (preferabily as Sr. District Parts & Service Manager.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing associates remotely
  • Marketing experience as it relates to express service metro market campaigns and parts / accessory sales improvements at the dealership level

Required Education:

  • 4-year automotive management degree or equivalent work experience

Desired skills:

  • Must have strong customer relations skills, strategic business planning skills to support major areas of responsibility, target marketing skills, knowledgeable of warranty expense control, parts and service policy and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of Honda Dealers' Parts & Service operations and Honda financial statement and EXAM data
  • Must be proficient in the use of analysis, action planning and follow up to achieve assigned business objectives
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation), analytical, planning, conceptual and organizational skills are required

  • Competitive base salary $89,100 to $133,600
