Job Summary:

We are seeking highly talented individuals to join our fast growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, organizational skills, integrity and a commitment to work. The Assistant Manager position will be responsible for supporting the management of all facets of business operations to positively contribute to sales volumes, margins, profits, and image goals. The ideal candidate will be required to be on site when needed to operate the store.

Essential Functions:

• Exhibit excellence in customer service and employee relations.
• Assist manager in building cohesive and effective work teams.
• Support corporate programs, values, and initiatives.
• Assist manager in responsibility for store performance
• Maintains company standards of safety and security.
• Provides timely performance reviews, motivation, recognition, and discipline.
• Assures proper handling of cash, credit cards, coupons, lottery, and all merchandises.
• Assures adequate inventory, price controls and implementation of approved fuel pricing.
• Ensures entire location maintenance and appearance continuously meet image standards and expectations. Required to clean the site and perform basic maintenance daily.
• Assures regular checks and proper maintenance of security system where applicable.
• Assures effective merchandising through display, pricing promotion and service. Makes timely and accurate merchandise price markdowns within policy guidelines and authority delegations.
• Maintains company standards of safety and security.

Accountability:

• Sales volume, margin, and profit goals.
• Controlling cash, merchandise, company assets.
• Achieving and maintaining service and image standards.
• Accountability of assigned Store and every facet of the store?s facility.
• Protection of company assets
