Greenspring is a beautiful 58-acre continuing care retirement community located in the heart of Fairfax County in Springfield, Virginia. The Assistant Manager of Rehabilitation is responsible for the creative and effective administration of Therapy services (Physical, Occupational, and Speech) for the entire Erickson continuum of care. All of our residents live within our award-winning campus, creating an environment where you can be part of their journey throughout their continuum of care (long-term care, short-term rehab, assisted living, and memory care).

Help people live better lives by:

  • Consistently and appropriately responding to the needs and concerns of residents, families, staff, and visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner.
  • Working with the interdisciplinary team to achieve the highest functional level of all customers and promote coordinated, efficient care with a customer service focus
  • Following Medicare, state/federal regulations, and company policies and procedures for all business lines.
  • Ensuring departmental understanding and compliance in documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance, and other requirements as defined in the respective regulations
  • Provide therapy duties in all settings across the continuum of care, as needed.
  • Ensure that the patient’s plan of care is communicated to the resident, family, physician, and/or therapy assistants as appropriate
  • Partner with the rehab manager to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and outreach program to facilitate the growth of rehabilitation services across the continuum of care.
  • Audit therapy documentation for compliance as directed in the company compliance plan and assigned by Rehabilitation Manager.
  • Provide input into performance appraisals as requested by the Rehabilitation Manager and/or completes performance appraisals on direct reports.

Compensation: Up to $80,000 based on experience

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in physical, occupational, or speech therapy
  • Experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is required.
  • State licensure in physical, occupational, or speech-language pathology in the state in which the department is located is essential.
