Job description

Master Millwork is looking for a motivated and skilled assistant project manager to support the planning and execution of projects. The position’s key responsibilities include monitoring project progress, following up on progress of project milestones, effectively communicating between departments, and maintaining project documents and submittals.

A successful candidate should be able to assist in the oversight of project activities, identify issues, and help the project management team with resolutions and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities:

* Communicating between departments, project site staff and vendors.

* Contributing to the coordination and planning of projects.

* Researching information as required.

* Performing administrative tasks such as preparing change orders, maintain document logs, scheduling meetings, etc.

* Keeping track of and reporting on project activities and progress.

* Reviewing construction drawings and schedules.

* Creating material takeoffs and obtaining vendor quotes

* Manage submittal workflows from creation to completion.

* Ensuring all project deliverables are completed.

Requirements:

* High school diploma/GED required.

* Degree in construction management or a related field preferred.

* Experience in the commercial construction industry referred.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office

* Highly organized and able to multitask.

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and follow up skills, both verbal and written.

* Able to work independently and as part of a team.

* AutoCAD experience is plus.”
