Assistant Project Manager's role is to support project management, estimating, & operations in all phases of the construction project. New APM hires will report directly to one assigned senior level Project Manager.

Daily work tasks include:

1. Submittals & Shop Drawings - drafting, submission, & tracking responses

2. Processing Job Work Orders (T&M), Change Orders, & PCO Logs

3. Reviewing drawings, specifications, and bid documents

4. Support in Estimating (On-Screen Take-off & QuickBid)

5. Bid Summaries/Job Budgets

6. RFI's - drafting, submission, & tracking responses

7. Writing of proposals and change orders

8. Subcontractor and vendor management

9. Material Status Reports, Procurement Logs, and Submittal Registers

10. Safety Paperwork

11. Punchlist & QA/QC Reporting

Detail oriented and organization is a must. Position comes with opportunity for growth as individual demonstrates ability to exceed in role and take on more tasks.

TLC's Primary Scopes of Work: Cold-Formed Metal Framing, Non-Structural Metal Framing, Gypsum Wallboard, Thermal Insulation, Acoustical Ceilings, HM Doors, Frames, & Hardware, Joint Firestopping.

About Tight Line Construction: TLC is a construction firm providing carpentry and general trades services to General Contractors, Construction Managers, and Owners. We are focused in the commercial sector in the New England marketplace with most of our work taking place in Boston, Eastern MA, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. Our clients include Gilbane Building Co, Lend Lease, Tishman/AECOMM, Campanelli, A/Z Corp, Turner, Columbia Construction, Consigli, and many others. We have performed projects for Boston Logan Airport (Massport), Pfizer, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, Bank of America, State Street Bank, Boston Red Sox, Oracle Software, and many others.

Pay: $68,000.00 per year
