We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Manager who has great organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

This person will support the GM through day to day projects, and will enjoy working in a fast paced environment!

Skills and responsibilities:

• Effectively opening and closing the restaurant on their scheduled shift and securing the building when the business is closed
• Manage high-volume
• Making sure that the staff on shift are performing to our company standards and have the necessary tools they need to be successful.
• Open-mindedness, an ability to learn, be challenged, problem solve and work well with a diverse group of people
• Maintaining a positive and respectful attitude towards guests, staff and superiors to assist in fostering a positive work environment for all employees and a positive dining experience for our guests.
• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
• Maintain compliance with food, health, safety, and security standards
• Versed in writing schedules and meeting or beating budgeted labor cost through effective management
• Balancing of cash drawers, calculation of the daily deposit to the POS system and tip allocations.
• Stepping into any position at any time that needs further assistance including, but not limited to: bartending, serving guests at tables, bussing, hosting, expediting food coming out of the kitchen and handling retail sales of merchandise and packaged beer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
