Texlahoma BBQ is growing and looking for an Assistant Manager to grow with us. Founded in Edmond, OK in 2015, Texlahoma prides itself on providing authentic Texas style barbecue in a fast-casual setting. This position is for the new location opening on 2nd Street in Edmond. Texlahoma BBQ is a part of Quail Springs Culinary.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Previous Management experience in fast-casual or full-service restaurants.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule averaging 50 hours per week.
- Previous experience in BBQ is a plus.
- Previous experience in New Restaurant Openings a plus.
- Will oversee day-to-day operations and will be hands-on working a position during peak meal periods.
- Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Liquor License.
- Must be able to stand or walk for up to 10 hours during a shift as well as lift up to 30 lbs. regularly.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors, Directs, and Provides Feedback to team members during the shift.
- Plans and Organizes daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure restaurant goals and objectives are met.
- Oversees scheduling, ordering, training, and cross-training.
- Oversees recruiting and employee retention.
- Oversees cash handling and management.
- Assistant Manager reports to General Manager.
