Administrative Coordinator/Assistant Theater Manager
Position opening at Upstate Films Starr Theater, Rhinebeck NY
Pay Rate: $18/hr
Start Date: Immediately

Hours: Minimum of 20 hours, with possibility for more
This position works with the Manager of Theater Operations, Director of Development and Manager of Operations to oversee key daily operations for the organization. The position requires a responsible, enthusiastic and can-do attitude, one who relishes working in a dynamic not-for-profit work environment.
Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting the Manager of Theater Operations in day to day theater operations
  • Serving as membership coordinator, by managing communications with members on a weekly basis
  • Serving as a key member of our development events staff
  • Working with the Manager of Operations on office and administrative duties
  • Serving as a supervisor during box office shifts.

Overseeing concession orders and inventory control
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous movie theater experience a plus but not necessary
  • Experience working in customer service
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with evaluating staff

Experience:

  • Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Supervising experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (Preferred)
