The Assistant Maintenance Director for this site will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks from typical commercial to light industrial.

Requirements:

Essential Functions

  • HVAC: Daily checks to verify equipment is operating and performing as expected
  • PM: Perform the Preventative Maintenance duties associated with the site including, but not limited to: Fire extinguisher; Emergency/exit lighting; Belts; Air Filters; Water filters; AED/Eye Wash
  • Machine Repair: Perform basic machine repair duties which may include, but not be limited to: Limit switch adjustments; Oil changes; Proximity switch adjustments; Pipe repair/replacement; Fuse replacement; Electrical (potentially up to 480V) diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair; Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
  • Management of Vehicle Fleet: If possible, perform basic shop repair of fleet that include, but not limited to: brakes, exhaust, oil change, head lamps, plugs and battery or manage the maintenance of the fleet using outside vendors.
  • Ticketing system oversight: Monitor SysAid (ticketing) system to help ensure that requests are addressed in a timely manner
  • Perform weekly and monthly inspection of residential stand by power generators and complete reports.
  • Facility Maintenance: Performing the day to day duties of facility maintenance which may include, but not be limited to: Replacing basic electrical devices; Replacing basic plumbing fixtures; Repairing damage to walls, ceilings, doors, etc.
  • Painting of walls, floors, ceilings or other requested items
  • Assist the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping with other duties as assigned.

  • Expected to participate in training as required by your supervisor or for all LOGAN staff.
  • Expected to demonstrate good judgement.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor within scope of skillset.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent


Experience

  • Three (3) years’ experience in commercial and/or industrial maintenance
  • 5 years’ experience in commercial and/or industrial maintenance preferred
  • 1-year experience in machine repair preferred
  • Forklift operator’s license preferred
  • OSHA 10 preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • A positive attitude to support individuals and staff throughout the building.
  • Skilled in the safe operation of basic housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
  • Ability to be self motivated and diligent in the execution of responsibilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing as needed.
  • Ability to lift/transfer up to 50 pounds.
  • Must comply with all LOGAN training requirements and certifications.
