This is a full-time, year-round hourly position. Expected regular shifts range from 8am to 5pm. Weekend availability is required.

Job Summary:

Assist in cleaning services and inspection of spaces to including laundry services and in-house linens, guest rooms, employee areas, and public space upkeep. A distinctive element exclusive to Hay Creek Management’s approach to guest service is its “Host Philosophy,” which encourages each associate to develop the skills necessary to offer competent hospitality service outside the realm of their primary job responsibilities. Essential Functions:

• Clean all guestrooms in accordance with the standards and policies of the department.

• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobby, guest bathrooms, hallways, stairs, elevator, etc.

• Perform housekeeping/ laundry duties as needed.

• Assist staff in the cleaning and inspecting of the property, with the ability to perform all duties required of subordinates.

• Lead by example with professionalism and high standards of cleanliness.

• Assign daily rooms and duties to staff and inspect work regularly. Prioritize and delegate tasks based on guest arrivals.

• Assist Housekeeping Manager in investigating guest complaints and maintenance issues.

• Work with Housekeeping Manager to keep a thorough inventory of all guest room needs, linen, rooms glassware, amenities, etc.

• Inspect and clean public areas to comply with department standards and guest expectations.

• Check all rooms each day to ensure cleanliness. File inspection reports with Housekeeping Manager.

• Assist in the training of new associates and relaying guest service standards.

• Communicate with front desk for daily tasks, room assignments, and room status reports.

• Ability to communicate with managers and from desk staff in a positive, efficient, and friendly manner.

• Maintain laundry area and storage closets, to be kept cleaned and organized at all times.

• Demonstrate team behavior and attitude of working together to accomplish task.

• Understand and practice all HCH safety and security procedures, including Emergency Evacuation Procedures, Accident Reporting, Right to Know Law, Written Information Security Program, Bloodborne Pathogen Procedures, Anti-Harassment Policy, and Violence in the Workplace Policy.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
