Rock Creek Resort located on beautiful Lake Texoma is seeking an experienced Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. You are the one who is entrusted with the maintenance, operation and management of the golf course. it is your responsibility to help supervise he maintenance of the golf course, maintenance and repair of construction and maintenance equipment.
Duties include:
- Assist with mowing, watering and matenance of tees, greens, fairways and related areas
- Assist with planting, fertilizing and maintenance of turf
- Assist with orientations and training of all golf course maintenance employees
Requirements:
- Have knowledge of the maintenance of the different types of turf used on golf courses, and the planting, cultivating, pruning, and caring for plants, shrubs and trees
- Have knowledge of drainage control methods, watering and irrigation systems, including wells, pumps and automatic controls
- Have a participating knowledge of the game of golf
- Be able to plan, assign and direct the work of others
