About Shy Bird:
Shy Bird is looking for an Assistant General Manager for our second location in South Boston this fall! Our bustling Kendall Square location has been serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner since 2018, with craveable, affordable food that celebrates the familiar while conveying genuine culinary ambition and passion. Conveniently located on the Red Line between Andrew and Broadway Station, the new Shy Bird location will be joining the Iron Works development, an exciting new destination in South Boston that is bringing residential, retail, office, fitness and outdoor amenity spaces into one incredible community.
Purpose of position:
The Assistant General Manager leads the service team in aspects including hiring, training, educating, coaching, and scheduling. This manager, like Shy Bird, is multi-faceted and dynamic. By day, you could be supporting the service team by taking orders, running food, or packing to-go orders. At night, you may be overseeing a trainee, chatting with a regular, or opening a bottle of wine for a busy server. You will bring to life service standards, guest relations, takeout operations and elements of catering.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
