Job description
The Assistant Designer is responsible for execution and follow up of the design development process. They will work with internal and external partners to ensure development and presentation is completed on target and on time.
Design responsibility of secondary account from concept to execution with supervision from Designer or Senior Designer.
Essential Functions
- Assist in entire design process from concept research to final fittings
- Create flats by hand and using Adobe Illustrator
- Assist in creating tech packs
- Keep fabric and garment tracking documents updated daily
- Follow up with factories on sample status
- Prepare samples for markets
