Assistant Clinical Supervisor
Job description
- Supervise medical assistants to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Perform training and orientation for new employee medical assistants
- Performs administrative tasks under the guidance of the supervisor
- Performs Quality Assurance
- Assist in the interviewing, hiring and training process for all new employees
- Designate tasks appropriately to staff
- Coordinates routine educational activities/seminars for continuing education
- Address all employee concerns with Supervisor. Assist with MA evaluations and performance improvement initiatives
- Assists with the creation, execution and updating of policies and procedures.
- Perform Medical Assistant duties as needed
- Prior experience with supervision of staff with strong leadership qualities
- Prior experience training staff
- Communicates well with others
- The ability to foster teamwork
- Minimum of 10years experience as a Medical Assistant required
- 3-5 years of cardiology experience required
Physical Demands:
The job may require from time to time to lift light to moderate amounts of weight (e.g., boxes of medical/facility supplies). Heavy computer use required.
