For 90 years, McGregor & Company, a full-service public accounting firm with offices in Columbia, Orangeburg and Barnwell, SC, has provided accounting, tax, and business advisory services to thousands of businesses and individual clients nationwide.

We are currently seeking a team player to complete accounting duties including payroll, account reconciliations, quarterly and annual payroll reporting, and sales tax returns in our Business Services Department.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 1-3+ years’ experience in a Bookkeeping or Payroll Clerk position
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
  • Strong PC skills including QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Word skills preferred
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload and multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with other accounting professionals
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required
