Cornell College invites applications for an assistant athletics communications director. The assistant director will assist the athletics communications director with all communication operations, leading the creation and execution of graphic and digital content for multiple platforms, assisting with overseeing game day operations for home sporting events, statistical collection of games, livestream production, and assorted tasks focused towards advancing the overall branding of Cornell College Athletics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in athletics communications and event management and operations.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive.

Preferred Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently, effectively and independently; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to multi-task, detail-oriented and ability to work with a diverse group of staff members; strong customer service with the ability to troubleshoot and handle pressure situations; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, student-served environment.
