Job Title: Assessment Specialist
Summary of Responsibilities:
Assisting taxpayers and aiding in the timely completion document processing.
Examples of Work:
- Communicate with and assist taxpayers (in-person, by phone & email)
- Verify and apply property tax exemption applications
- Process annual assessment change documentation
- Assist the Board of Review and taxpayers during the appeal process
- Process sales transfer declarations for reporting to the State
- Other duties as required or assigned
Abilities:
- Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Requires ability to interact and maintain a good working relationships
