At Terumo Cardiovascular, we develop, manufacture and distribute medical devices for cardiac and vascular surgery with an emphasis on cardiopulmonary bypass, intra-operative monitoring and vascular grafting. This includes a full-line of perfusion products, endoscopic vessel harvesting products and surgical stabilization products.

This position is responsible for all aspects of assembling, inspecting, and packing of product.

• In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
• Abide by safety procedures.
• Assemble components based upon customer specifications.
• Pack product into proper pouches, bags, trays, buckets, and boxes.
• Inspect both visual and functional aspects of product.
• May perform in-line inspections for other members of the team.
• Assemble product as required using customized drawing specifications, procedures, and/or job-related hand tools.
• May include some equipment operation.
• Maintain clean and organized work area in accordance to site-specific procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The position exists in a production environment. Requires gowning procedures for controlled environment. May at times involve exposure to chemicals that have fume removal by exhaust system requiring the use of personal protective equipment. May require the use of eye protection, hand protection, and, depending on noise level, may require hearing protection. Visual acuity in compliance with site specific Visual Acuity Program. Requires constant sitting or standing for long periods of time with occasional stooping, bending, reaching, etc. Typically requires frequent lifting of 5 lbs. to 40 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Constant repetitive motion tasks, such as pushing, pulling, and gripping. This position is not eligible to work remotely. This may change based on job responsibilities, project/business needs and/or Associate job performance. In all cases Associates may need to have on-site presence for designated meetings and compliance related activities.

Schedules:

• First shift: 5am - 330pm, 530am - 4pm, or 6am - 430pm Monday - Thursday with Friday and/or Saturday overtime.
• Second shift: 4pm - 230am Monday - Thursday with Friday and/or Saturday overtime.
• Third shift - 12am - 830am Sunday - Thursday OR 11pm - 730am Monday - Friday. Must be able to train on first or second shift.

Pay Rates:

• First Shift: $18.25 per hour, plus time in a half for hours worked over 40.
• Second Shift: $20.08 per hour, plus time in a half for hours worked over 40.
• Third Shift - $20.99 per hour, plus time in a half for hours worked over 40.
