Volt is immediately hiring an
Assembler for a local manufacturing company in
Erie, PA. This is a first shift, Monday through Friday,
walk on opportunity. Pay for this position is
$15/hr.

**WALK ON POSITION**
As an Assembler you will :
- Work in a warehouse setting
- Be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Perform all quality checks on inventory/parts prior to assembly
- Clean and inspect parts and disassemble returned units
- Perform basic to complex assembly
- Assemble/package product in warehouse manufacturing environment
- Receive, process, locate parts/product/shipments in warehouse; prep for assembly
- Meet/Exceed production standards; hitting goals and working safely at every point in the manufacturing process
Requirements for the Assembler are :
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Good hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills performing repetitive motions
- Able to stand for prolonged periods on a concrete floor
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Must work well with others in a loud manufacturing or factory environment
- Manufacturing experience including assembly, production, machine operator or other related experience desired, but not necessary
- Safety or steel toe shoes required
