Job description

Production Assembly Operator in Manufacturing facility. Responsible for assembling products and packing them for shipment.

Main duties:

Assists in areas of assignment, including all operations.
Work within a team to complete production in a safe and timely manner.
Perform assembly and packing operations with both hands in a timely manner.
Load raw materials into the lines.
Packaging of products as specified.
Understand and control the Quality of the raw materials and finished product according to the Standards.
Report any finished product or raw material inconsistencies.
Document traceability of the products used in production.
Document downtimes of the Assembly Lines.

Requirements

Experience in Production, Assembly or Manufacturing is preferable.
Complete all required safety, environmental and health training.
Operate all equipment and machines in a safe manner.
Use/wear personal protective equipment as required.
Perform duties as assigned.
Able to work standing or sitting, depending on the position.
Able to climb stairs and stoop/kneel as needed to record product.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Able to manipulate small items as required in production.

Competencies

Ability to read and record part/item numbers, lot numbers, products, dates, quantities.
Basic math skills to include counting, addition and subtraction.
Written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
