American Asphalt Paving Co., a local road construction company located in Shavertown, PA, is seeking an experienced overnight ASPHALT TANKER DRIVER.

The tanker driver will pick up liquid asphalt in the Tri-State Area (PA, NJ, NY) and transport the material back to the asphalt plants in Shavertown and Plains, PA. On a rare occasion, the driver will be required to pick up asphalt from Maryland. The position is for local work and the driver will be home DAILY.

Requirements:

• Class A CDL
• Tanker Endorsement
• HazMat Endorsement
• TWIC certification preferred, or must be obtained within 30-days of employment at the employer’s expense.
• Minimum 2-years’ experience transporting hot liquids, interstate travel.
• Clean driving record required.
• Safety conscious
• Verifiable, excellent professional references.
• All employees must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test, and be willing to submit to, and pass, random drug/alcohol testing.
