Job description

Provides direct patient care on assigned units; including Creative Therapy group sessions and doctor ordered individual assessments/sessions. Completes Creative Therapy documentation including assessments, group summaries and treatment plans. Serves as a member of the treatment team. Understands and utilizes principles of growth/development for adolescent patients and the age specific needs of geriatric patients.

Job Requirements:

• Music Therapist: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Music Therapist
• Recreation Therapist: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
• Art Therapist: A Master’s Degree from an accredited school and Registered Art Therapist
• Weekends as needed
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Inpatient psychiatric experience and ability to work with large groups preferred
