WE ARE A GROWING COMPANY! We are in search of an Area Manager for our team! The Area Manager is responsible for managing staff, maximizing productivity, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing fair housing and safety with an assigned area.

Typical Daily Responsibilities:

  • Supervises all on-site staff, including hiring, training, coaching and counseling.
  • Determines and communicates productivity standards to maximize property performance and individual success.
  • Evaluates performance against company standards and makes compensation decisions.
  • Works to achieve maximum performance based upon annual goals to increase revenue.
  • Increase standards of customer service.
  • Provide daily mentoring to staff
  • Coordinate with the corporate office to provide training and development for staff.
  • Communicate with tenants, staff, and vendors on a regular basis.
  • Ensure quality is consist across the assigned area.
  • Maximize sales and profitability in the assigned area.
  • Set sales targets for individual locations.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Willing to travel LOCALLY 50% percent of the time
  • 5+ years experience in Property Management; multi-family required
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Affordable Housing experience required; specifically with Tax Credit/LIHTC/Section 42 and Section 8 properties required
  • Supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Top notch customer service and leadership skills
  • Fair Housing Certification and/or Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) a plus
  • A neat, clean and professional manner and appearance.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background screening
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Yardi experience preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 30 pounds.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
