Our New York office is looking for a dynamic fundraising professional with leadership and organizational skills and a proven track record in sales, client relations, politics, fundraising, or another field that shows your ability to build strong relationships, close deals, and grow revenue. If you love Israel and American politics, are knowledgeable about the New York financial community, and possess the above leadership skills, this is an exceptional opportunity.
Detailed Duties
The position will be measured against effective execution of the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Create and execute a development plan aimed at growing AIPAC’s revenue through high level solicitations, donor cultivation and stewardship

• Build and sustain strong, personal relationships with current high-level donors in your portfolio and inspire them to get more invested in pro-Israel political giving
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit new donors to join AIPAC and commit resources toward pro-Israel politics
• Meet quarterly and annual fundraising goals and objectives
• Develop lay leadership for local and national AIPAC roles
• Recruit participants for national and local programs
• Deliver speeches and briefings on the U.S.-Israel relationship and pro-Israel political activism

Qualifications/Skills:

• Intense passion for a strong U.S.-Israel relationship, as well as deep knowledge of issues related to Israel, the Middle East and American politics
• A minimum of 5 years work experience in sales/fundraising or a related field with a successful track record of achieving and exceeding goals
• Exceptional people skills and the ability to form close, personal relationships with current and prospective AIPAC members
• Work efficiently under pressure; meet deadlines; demonstrate strategic thinking and good decision-making, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit
• Effective public speaking and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, in addition to working with your colleagues to meet goals and objectives
• Excellent written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred or commensurate experience
• Knowledge of the financial industry/community a plus

AIPAC offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees overall total compensation package. We are currently working remotely two days a week and, in our offices, the other three. AIPAC is an equal opportunity employer. Hiring Range: $100,000 - $150,000.
