Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation Administration or related field required. Candidates must be certified (or able to maintain within three months of hired date) Starguard Lifeguard Instructor and current in CPR, AED & First Aid. Management experience in an aquatic environment is preferred. A valid Illinois driver’s license is necessary.

The Aquatic & Athletic Supervisor is responsible for the Seafari Spring Aquatic Center, the training & evaluation of all staff, assist with the facility budget, all required paperwork, and completing reports as required. The Supervisor is also responsible for creating, planning, organizing, staffing, implementing, budgeting, and evaluating the following program/rental areas: Youth & Adult Athletics, and some General Interest. Along with coordinating inclusion requests, creating new creative programs/events seasonally, and being fiscally responsible.

Candidate should possess strong leadership, customer service, management, and organization skills. Must possess the ability to communicate verbally, and in writing and be proficient at computer word processing software.
