Wusong Road, named one of the top 20 Tiki Bars and one of Boston's best new bars 2022, is Cambridge’s local tropical escape on Mt. Auburn street in Harvard Square.

We are hidden away within the beautifully restored historic 100 year old Conductor’s Building--the first elevated train station in the USA. With just over 8,000 ft2, 165 seats, two full bars spread across two floors and a top-of-the-line kitchen suite, Wusong Road is an escape from the bustling city street outside.

Our menu is small Asian inspired tapas by Chef Jason Doo (Fairmont Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels, Menton, Woods Hill Table) where everything from dumplings to hand pulled noodles are made from scratch. Our front of house hospitality team led by John Shin (Aureole NYC, Tasting Counter, MIDA Boston) guides guests through our classical Tiki menu and modern rifts while providing a high level of hospitality in a casual setting.

We are seeking someone who is looking to learn more about Tiki and get introduced to the world of bartending. Apprentice bartenders should be able to pick up on guest social cues and help our bar-staff provide a seamless level of service in a fun and fast paced environment. Apprentice bartenders must be willing to learn about, bartending,Tiki & Tiki culture and the preparation of mixed drinks.

Apprentice bartenders must also be comfortable helping enforce rigorous health and sanitation standards, the freshness of the fruit and juices, overall cleanliness of the bars and bar preparation areas (rotating fresh fruits, label and dating juices and mixes, etc.). Our bartenders ALSO must be willing to serve tables as we do have bar high top tables.
