Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Production/Process Engineering
  • CAD / ERP Systems
  • Working knowledge 6S and GD&T

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the manufacturing process including milling, turning, assembly and inspection
  • Prepares reports by analyzing and certifying customer and internal systems and mechanical designs product failures and recommending corrections/improvements/design changes, and by reporting upon their own independently created designs, methods and procedures.
  • Provides designs and drawings, instructions and related documentations for new and existing products and systems. Interacts with project engineering, design, customer teams for inputs and deliverables.
  • Reviews drawings, analytics and critical test results and provides final approval.
  • Prepares analysis and summary for technical review.
  • Reviews vendor and customer drawings for design standards and compatibility with equipment and process. Suggests improvements/design changes.
  • Evaluates existing products for quality and manufacturing methods. Researches product history, industry standards and company standards. Suggests improvements/design changes.
  • Plans work and maintains schedules by completing projects by due dates.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge. Reviews professional publications and participates in professional societies.
  • Writes patents and technical papers when applicable.
  • Presents well written and well-spoken communication.
  • Travels to assigned project site locations when necessary.
  • Manages projects and participates as part of a team.
  • Other job duties and tasks as assigned
