Job Summary:
ClearBridge Investments is looking for an Application Developer/Analyst or Senior Application Developer/Analyst to join their New York based Technology team. This individual will participate in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications for internal company use. This position will report directly to the Head of the Applications Development & Support team.
Key Responsibilities Include, but not Limited to:
  • System and data analysis, architecture, and design
  • Data integration and workflow design
  • Software development, configuration, and customization
  • Post implementation and overnight support
  • Creating, maintaining, and testing of Batch & Business Processes, Web Services & Applications
  • Troubleshooting, performance tuning, writing of technical and functional design specifications.
  • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
  • University degree in a Technology discipline preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience in applications development
  • Experience with Enterprise Integration frameworks and ESB’s (e.g. JBoss Fuse, Talend, WSO2)
  • Experience developing cloud native applications in Azure a big plus
  • Hands on knowledge in most of the following technologies: SOAP & RESTful Web Services, Jason, XML , XSLT, JAXB, FreeMarker, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, SQL, Stored Procedures, myBatis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Financial Systems and the Investment Lifecycle a key factor for consideration
  • Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits

  • The salary range for this position is targeted for $130,000 to $170,000 plus discretionary bonus. Base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience
