Property Manager
This position is for a professional, organized person who enjoys working with people, helping people find their perfect home and ensuring our properties are maintained to a very high standard. Our properties are located in the South Hills area of Allegheny County.
As the leader of our staff and properties, this position will be responsible for keeping all resident files up-to-date, accounting for rents paid through the resident portal, handling delinquent residents, overseeing all maintenance, repair and upgrades and resolving any situation that arises in the properties including tenant complaints.

Responsibilities
- Attract and maintain leasing and maintenance staff
- Ensure all vacant apartments are turned quickly
- Maintaining an excellent customer service relationship with residents, vendors, co-workers and the community.
- Know the competition
- Direct efforts to maximize rental income and high occupancy of at least 94%.
- Train and develop staff so that each member is committed to fair housing, safe operations and secure properties
- Provide clerical and phone support.
- Be aware of Pennsylvania landlord tenant actions and laws
- Maintain a calendar of scheduled move-ins, ensuring all move-in appointments are completed and all apartments inspected and ready before new tenants move in
- Walk properties daily and inspect for any deficiencies
- Demonstrate ability to resolve resident complaints and direct pertinent issues and matters to the Property Manager.
- Conduct resident move-outs inspections and complete move out forms
- Communicate effectively and professionally with owners, residents, vendors and co-workers.
- Assist and ensure all customer complaints are handled promptly and appropriately.
- Provide reports to collections team
- Meet with other managers and supervisor regularly
- Other reasonable tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor in furtherance of company objectives.
Education
- A High School education is required; college degree is a plus but not a requirement.
- Ability to fluently read and write English.
- Accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions and use all resident management software functions.
Professional Experience
At least five years experience in residential property management or related field is required.
Attendance
Ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. Our property staffing limitation makes it critical for you to work your scheduled hours consistently as well as overtime and on call if necessary.
Licenses/Equipment
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required; position requires own vehicle to fulfill all of job’s functions.

- Ability to drive and access to a car
- Knowledge of PA law as it relates to handling of security deposits, unclaimed property, evictions, and other resident-related fees and charges
Computer Skills
- Basic computer and Internet knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel; proficiency with Outlook
- Ability to operate and understand personal computer functions and company utilized software packages

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
