Aon is looking for an Active Exchange Analyst - (Virtual)


The target salary range for this position is $53K – 62K annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.


What the day will look like
  • Performs day-to-day execution and task completion; provides frequent status updates, and responsible for timely completion of assigned tasks. Communicates at risk, escalated issues, barriers, to Sr. Analyst (if also aligned to activity), Workstream Owner and Project Manager.
  • Effectively executes on process and projects by following the documented standard operating procedures (SOPs). This includes utilizing automation tools and interacting with off-shore colleagues when applicable.
  • Expected to consistently update internal task tracking and ticketing system tools relating to all aligned tasks and projects.
  • Responds to emails promptly and proactively within our standard service level agreement (SLA); manages internal stakeholder, carrier and partner responses for timeliness/accuracy.
  • Communicates effectively with internal partners for analysis/ resolution of complex issues or project impacts.
  • Expected to serve as back-up support (even if not directly aligned) for all activities aligned under their workstream
  • Sets up and attends team meetings, takes notes, records action items and provides status updates
  • Serves as first level peer reviewer of other analyst work
  • Identifies and resolves escalations or issues with strong emphasis on patterns, trends, and root cause analysis
  • Supports and provides investigation on questions and issues, and ensures proper reporting per using the ticketing system or task tracking tools
  • Coordinates internal review, testing, execution relating to Exchange operations activities
  • Supports maintenance of documentation/training; assists in the delivery of training to on and off-shore colleagues
  • Identifies process improvements for existing processes and supports creation of new processes with emphasis on up/ down stream impacts
  • Actively seeks additional knowledge of department, tools and systems
  • Works well with others and consistently performs to the best of ability
Required Experience:
  • 2 plus years of work experience in Operations or Benefits Administration
  • Proven ability to self-manage assigned projects
  • Proficiency with Excel and all other Microsoft Office products
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills; works independently with limited direction from senior team members.
  • Demonstrated responsiveness to client delivery requests.
  • Ability to write Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents and process flows.
  • Ability to properly research and problem solve changes to system or process.
  • Ability to refine processing procedures based on big picture understanding.
Preferred Experience:
  • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables/ VBA & Macros) & Data Analysis skills
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Healthcare industry knowledge
  • Knowledge and/or experience with a project management/ ticketing system

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Benefits Administration, Human Resources or equivalent years of industry experience.
