JOBThis position is responsible for covering On-Call Pick Up. Hours will vary.Position is paid on a stipend basis - per animal pick-up. $10 stipend within City of Ladysmith, $15 outside of the City of Ladysmith.Under the direction of the Animal Shelter Manager, this position is responsible for covering On-Call Pick Up hours of animals as needed.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Principal Duties and Activities: 1. Be available to respond, remain in the county, and be sober during on-call hours2. Assist local police and sheriff’s departments with animal related calls as needed3. Transport animals to shelter as needed a. Complete intake paperwork on incoming animals b. Set up each incoming animal with a clean pen, food, and water.
