The Animal Caretaker (AC) is an entry level position and a great place to start your career with Sinclair. In this role, you learn about research while caring for our animals. In addition to holding animals and working with enrichment toys, you will also be responsible for general husbandry and the sanitation of our animal areas. No experience is needed as our in-house Training department will teach you everything you need to know. This position can be your springboard into a career in research and animal care!
Responsibilities:
- Provide high level of animal care with empathy and professionalism.
- Perform general animal husbandry including sanitation of animal spaces and movement of animals.
- Assist Animal Technicians and Veterinary Technicians with study responsibilities.
- General housekeeping duties include assessment of animal housing, ventilation, and equipment in animal spaces.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED or higher is required.
- No prior experience required.
