Job description
The City of Guthrie is accepting applications for full-time Airport Maintenance and Operations Technician. Under the general supervision of the Airport Manager, performs highly responsible and professional work in planning, coordination, and conducting the upkeep and maintenance of the airport grounds.
Primary responsibilities include mowing, edging, and weeding airport property and other general airport maintenance. Heavy manual labor. Responsible for maintaining mowers, lawn equipment, and airport parts inventory. General construction and related service tasks.
Successful applicants will have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and driving record must meet or surpass guidelines as set forth by the City of Guthrie.

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or the equivalent; and experience in working with heavy lawn maintenance equipment or its equivalent including operation and maintenance. Applicants with two years of airfield experience in airport operations may receive preference.
