Job Title: Aircraft Wire Fabrication Tech

Reports to: Wire Fabrication Senior Lead/Lead

Job Summary:

Vale Group has partnered with an international aviation company who is actively searching for an experienced Aircraft Wire Fabrication Technician to work ON-SITE in Indianapolis, IN.

Wire Fabrication Technician Duties/Responsibilities:

Must be familiar with different fabrication techniques and processes. Comprehension of material guidelines and parameters to ensure customer satisfaction and excellent quality. Background in Avionics ideal.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to inventory and order needed materials promptly to maintain perpetual work requirements.

• Ability to fabricate wire harnesses and subassemblies of outstanding quality per company policies and procedures.
• Ability to utilize computers and designated software used by the company.
• Ability to meet compliance requirements with regulatory paperwork and ability to complete in a timely manner.
• Ability to acquire required knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or related methods of process improvement technology.
• Ability to procure knowledge of RSQM and FAA regulations regarding relevant aircraft parts.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Trade school certification or military training a PLUS.
• Entry level knowledge of finishing techniques and processes in the aviation field.
• Ability to fully understand English, reading, writing, and speaking.
• Blueprint and engineering documentation knowledge and ability to understand.

Physical Requirements:

• Aircraft hangar environment which can include, but not limited to loud noises, hazardous materials, heavy machinery, and weather.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
