Job Description:
Supervise and manage operational activities the stone quarry, which include pit and plant production, plant maintenance, mobile equipment, and personnel. Responsible for training and development of a team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of hourly workforce. Successfully implement the company's safety and environmental processes. Successfully lead and manage to establish production, safety, and environmental objectives. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/responsibilities:
- 5+ years' experience in aggregate operations with understanding of mineral processing equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated mobile equipment
- Minimum 3 year supervisory experience in a mining environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient on PC to include MS Office suite
- Experience with pit design/exploration, drilling, blasting, inventory control and customer service preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as required
