AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM STAFF KEITH MIDDLE SCHOOLTeacher vacancies are available for afterschool programming at Keith Middle School.KEITH MIDDLE SCHOOLSite Facilitator (1)Teachers (5-10)JOB DUTIES FACILITATOR: Oversees the program at the site level including student safety and well-being, attendance, staffing, payroll, programming, family engagement, community partnerships, budgeting, and data collectionImplements SAYO surveys and conducts observations to ensure ongoing program improvementsCompletion of all required reports for grant complianceAttendance at grant required professional development opportunities and site facilitators meetingsJOB DUTIES TEACHERS: Teachers needed to run sports, art, wellness, STEM, diversity leadership, and other clubsDesign and implement high-quality, culturally responsive afterschool programming to build academic skills, language development, critical thinking, and social-emotional competenciesWork with community partners such as the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Discovering Justice, and Community Boating Center to implement quality programmingEnsure that all activities and lessons are conducted in a safe and welcoming environment with appropriate supports for the success of all learnersCommunicate with families and participate in family engagement opportunities during program timeWork to build strong, positive relationships between students and program staffCompletion of SAYO surveys to track student progress towards outcomesQUALIFICATIONS: Current unit A employees of New Bedford Public Schools preferredPROGRAM DATES AND TIMES: Monday through Friday from 2:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (staff do not need to be available all five days)COMPENSATION: Unit A staff will be paid in accordance with the terms of the NBEA Unit A Contractjjbodyshop.com is the go-to platform for job seekers looking for the best job postings from around the web.
