About us

Our mission at the Fairhope Point Clear Rotary Youth Club is to empower our youth to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We offers After School Care, Summer Enrichment, & a First Class Pre-K program.

As an After-School Tutor, your main responsibility is to assist students with learning & retaining BCBE curriculum, reviewing & checking schoolwork, explaining how to solve problems, and checking completed work. A Teacher may also help students develop study skills and organization techniques to help improve their academic performance.

Work Schedule 2pm-6pm: Monday-Friday. We follow the Baldwin County school schedule for all school closures.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Four-year college degree preferred, preferably in a field of youth development, education, or related experience.

• Meet DHR Minimum Standards

• Highly organized, outgoing, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail.

• Sound knowledge and proven skills in written and oral communications.

• Should have good working knowledge of youth development principles and guidance techniques.

• Ability to motivate youth and staff and manage behavior problems.

• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks while meeting multiple deadlines.

• Ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities in a positive focused manner and remain composed under stress.

• Demonstrated ability to adhere to approved organizational policies and procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to work with and cultivate volunteers.

• Demonstrate ability to work well with others in a team setting.

• Pass a drug testing and criminal background check.

• Possess CPR and First Aid Certifications, preferred, or willingness to obtain certifications within one month of hire.

***Quarterly Bonus of $1,500 for all Part Time Workers until September 2023

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
