Job description

The Care Concierge will work with the Advent Health Hinsdale team to ensure that all patients discharged from the hospital receive timely, appropriate post-discharge follow-up care. The Care Concierge will assist patients with appointment scheduling, insurance approval, care team management, health record coordination, and patient experience follow-up.

This position aligns with medical terminology and healthcare exposure that is comparable to some aspects of a medical scribe.

Seeking candidates who are self-motivated, proactive, dependable, organized, have great communication skills, and are able to multi-task. This is not a seasonal internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years old with HS diploma or equivalent
• Preferred at least 1 year of college completed
• Pre-health track preferred (pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing, healthcare administration, public health)
• Comfortable in hospital environment and working with patients
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Good communication skills'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
