Day (United States of America)We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at New England Baptist Hospital, a leading orthopedic specialty teaching hospital. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pain medicine and a passion for helping patients manage and relieve their spinal pain.Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with spinal conditions and chronic pain, both in an outpatient setting for spine evaluations and in an inpatient setting for pain management
- Perform physical exams and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the source of the patient's pain
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team
- Prescribe medications and perform interventional pain management procedures as needed
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies
- Document patient information, treatments, and progress in the medical record
