We are hiring an Admissions Application Specialist within the division of Enrollment Management. In this role, you will assist in managing application data associated with numerous program applications. This position is part of a team responsible for preparing applications for review, evaluating transcripts, identifying prerequisites, and ensuring data integrity across all programs. The position is critical to the processing of applications and deposits, both of which are key indicators for enrollment. The technical skills needed to be successful in this role are continually evolving, but include attention to detail, an openness for learning new programs and processes, and experience in data processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for sharing the application volume for all programs supported.
- Manages and will be held accountable for the integrity of the application related data within the student information system to support the University enrollment strategic decisions.
- Evaluates coursework for programs to identify prerequisites required.
- Manages email communications
- Works to ensure data is clean and applications are updated with appropriate documents.
- Assigns and releases decisions for all supported programs and ensures all data is correct within all admissions software.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred)
- 3-5 years experience in data entry or data quality, admissions experience is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately to enter data, check data quality, and process data for reporting
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work well on a team as well as independently motivated
- Ability to learn quickly and be flexible in job responsibilities
- Organization, time management, and project management skills/experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience working with admissions/recruitment/CRM software preferred
